We've been in business over 4 years, and we already have over 5000 clients from around the country who trust us. We can send these clients your way. Most of our competitors do not have phone support, process credit cards on your behalf, screen the clients ahead of time, or have the texting technology we have. In fact, many of our competitors are just websites without any human beings running them - no one you can even contact. We're real people - check out the About Us page and read about who we are. And the calls you get from Go Massage clients will be good calls.


When you say "provider", what do you mean?
Go Massage defines "provider" as any person or entity providing massages. This could be an individual or a facility - spa, chiropractor's office, wellness center, massage place, etc.  


What kind of marketing will you guys do to promote us?
Well, the good news is that we already have about 5000 clients in our database. And we will definitely be marketing to them. These are clients we have accumulated over 4 years of being a mobile massage company.

Until the end of 2008, our primary focus will continue to be on Internet marketing. This includes Google, Yahoo, MSN, and other related massage sites. We also do direct mail as well. We designate a certain budget every quarter for marketing purposes and that amount really depends on the number of providers in your city. The more providers in a city, the more we invest in marketing in that city. We also service many celebrities and participated in the Oscar Gift Suite. In addition, we offer free give-aways for various holidays which gets us a lot of hits to our website.


How many appointments can I expect after signing up?
This largely depends on your settings - some of which you can control and some of which you can't. They include the following (in order of importance).

Your Location
Your Gender (if mobile)
Your Rating (if low, encourage clients to rate high)
Your Picture (if unprofessional, then change)
Your Reviews (encourage clients to write reviews)
Your Availability
Your Rate (try changing your rate)
Your Modalities
Your Additional Info (here, you can put in a special or discount)
Other Aspects of Your Profile (make sure your provider description is professional)

But generally speaking, you can get 1 to 20 hours a month with our service. However, it is important that your profile is filled in completely. If there are missing elements such as a picture or description, it will minimize your opportunity. It can also take up to 2 months before receiving your first appointment, so please be patient.


Are there any charges?
Yes. We charge you 6.5% for credit card transactions (if you're a mobile provider) and 15% for gift certificate redemption. We also offer 12 different plans - some free and some paid. The details are listed under Rates & Appt. Billing Below.


Any other catches?
Not really. We're here to help you really. We make money by having a large quantity of providers sign up with us. But you do have to agree to the terms and conditions. They're pretty standard, but there are a few things that MOBILE PROVIDERS should know. Note: these DO NOT APPLY TO SPAS OR FACILITIES.

-Chair massage appointments are a flat rate/hr. and the rates vary depending on location.

-We have something called Concierge Appts. for mobile providers and those appointments pay a flat $46/hr. ($52/hr in New York). These are appointments that are booked through the Go Massage Staff. This will be about 20% of your appointment requests you get. You are under no obligation to take them.

-We send out promotions offering up to 15 min. for free or $20.00 off the massage, and mobile providers must honor those.

-When you first sign up - within the first two months, we would like the mobile provider to give a Go Massage representative a 1 hour massage at no charge - for editorial purposes. These appointments are within 25 miles.  




RATES & APPT. BILLING

We have 12 different plans to choose from.

FACILITY BASIC PLAN - FIRST REFERRAL FREE
Listing comes with Facility Name, Address, Pictures, Schedule, Menu, Your Rates, Slogan, Specials, and Company Info. Phone is not included with this listing.  If someone wants to get in contact with your spa, they contact us via phone or email, and once we have them on the phone, we transfer the call to you. Client pays you directly for the massage.

If client uses a Go Massage Gift Certificate to book at your facility, they book through us and Go Massage pays you in full for the appointment minus 15% comission. Your credit card is not needed for this plan.

Facilities can earn extra income by offering mobile massage services to their clients (through a $20 referral fee or through using Go Massage as a subcontractor). For more information, call 1-888-506-2772.

You may only use this plan for the first referral - after which Go Massage will call you to move to the Bronze or Silver Plan. WHY NOT GIVE IT A TRY !

FACILITY BRONZE PLAN - NO MONTHLY FEE - Pay per performance 
This plan is ideal for facilities who expect to get anywhere from 1 to 3 referrals a month with Go Massage. You pay only when you get qualified leads - $4 per phone display, $4 per email, $4 per client direct text and 15% of Go Massage Gift Certificate Redemptions. Listing comes with everything in basic plan.

FACILITY SILVER PLAN - $29.95/MONTH
Monthly Fee Gets You Unlimited Appts. With Enhanced Listing with No Extra Fees
This plan is ideal for spas who expect to get 4 to 20 referrals a month from Go Massage.  Enhanced features include: Everything in basic plan plus unlimited appointment requests of all types, phone, email, website link, and 1 free email blast to pre-screened clients in your area. Pay only 15% on Go Massage Gift Certificate Redemptions. You also get unlimited job alerts- meaning that if you have hiring needs, we can send out a mass email to all of our therapists within 25 miles of your zip code letting them know about your open position. If you're not happy with the service, you can cancel at any time or move to the Bronze Plan.

FACILITY GOLD PLAN  $149.95 for 6 MONTHS - Save $30.00 (1 Month Free)
This plan is ideal for facilities who plan on getting consistent referrals for the next 6 months.  You get everything you get in the Silver Plan, but by paying in advance, you get the best deal.

Receive Go Massage's Flat Hourly Rate & Credit Card Processing Capability
Have your full listing and profile displayed to potential clients. Get appointment requests through Go Massage and get paid our hourly concierge rate (currently $46/hr. or $52/hr. in New York) or get referred for spa jobs. You can also charge your own existing clients whatever you want and use Go Massage as a credit card processing service. Your credit card is not needed. Instead, you are mailed a check once a month for the monies we owe you. On this plan, the clients belong to Go Massage, not you, so no contact information can be exchanged.

This plan is ideal for mobile providers who expect to work anywhere from 1 to 5 hours a month with Go Massage. Charge whatever rate you want, and pay only when you get qualified leads - $4 per phone display, $4 per email, $4 per client direct text and $7 per Time is Priority text appt. confirmation. You are eligible for all appointment types - including referrals for spa jobs. And with this plan, the clients belong to you, not Go Massage.

MOBILE SILVER PLAN - $12.95/MONTH
Monthly Fee Gets You Unlimited Appts. With Enhanced Listing with No Extra Fees
This plan is ideal for mobile providers who expect to work anywhere from 6 to 50 hours a month with Go Massage. Charge whatever rate you want, and get the features of an enhanced listing which include: Go Massage License Validation on your profile, a link to your own website, a free email blast, insurance against client cancellation, spa job referrals and unlimited emails and phone calls. When do I get my paycheck?
The monthly paychecks go out on roughly the 10th day of the month which means you should receive by the 14th of every month. Your paycheck will include the following: chair events, client credit card charges, gift certificate redemptions, and VIP appointments.


Can I get on the home page or show up first in search results?
Yes, we have a few different advertising options, and the prices vary from $19.95/month to $249.95/month.

-Sponsored Listing - shows up as one of the first 10 results when people look for a massage in your area.
-Highlighted Listing - Makes your listing stand out.
-Home Page Territory - One of the 3 spots on the home page to clients who live in your territory.
-Home Page Spotlight - The Massage Spotlight box on the home page.


PROVIDER PROFILES & LOGGING IN

Will my name and address be displayed to the client?
Mobile Providers only have their first name and last initial, city and zip code displayed. Massage Facilities (Spas, etc.) will have the full address displayed as well as a map.


What if I don't update my schedule?  Do I still come up in search results?
We understand that it's difficult for providers to update their schedule.  Therefore, you're profile still will come up in the search results (even if you say you're not available) but at the bottom of the profile, it will say: MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE AT DESIRED APPT. TIME. 


I don't have a good picture.  How important is that?
For many people, the picture is important. But we do have 23 stock photos you can choose from if you don't have a photo.  We do however STRONGLY recommend a photo of yourself or your massage facility however - even if it's not professional looking.


What's included in the profile that the clients see?
This depends on the plan that you choose, but genreally speaking, you get up to 5 pictures, your facility description or bio, your standard rate, the amount of experience you have, a slogan or place to put specials, your rating, your gender (if mobile), as well as other information. Browse around our site and you'll see what it looks like.



MOBILE CLIENTS & APPTS.

I'm a mobile provider. Other than my massage table, do I need anything else?
While it's not required, you will lose out on at least 50% of the appointments if you don't have a cell phone or a good texting plan. Many of our appointments are booked through texting.

What if I call the client on the phone and he/she seems shady or suspicious?
You are not required to do the appointment. Simply tell them that you feel that perhaps another provider would be more appropriate for them and that they should call Go Massage directly. You can give them the phone number. After this, please notify Go Massage by emailing providerservices@gomassage.com or calling us.

What about certification and licensing?
In terms and conditions of our site, you affirm that all information on your profile is true and correct - this includes massage flavors (modalities), Certification, Licensing, Insurance section, and all other portions of your account. If determined it is false, your membership may be terminated without any refunds.

You also attest that you are certified from an accredited massage school, have reliable transportation and own either a massage chair, massage table, or both.

You understand that the massage licensing laws vary from territory to territory and that licensing is your my own personal responsibility. If you'd like your license to be validated by Go Massage, you can sign up for the appropriate membership plan, but validating licenses can take up to 30 days to be posted on the site.


How do I charge a credit card to a non Go Massage client?
Simply download the credit card form and fax it back to us. You'll be paid for all appointments (-8.9%) on the 15th of the month for the month previous. Note that Go Massage cannot be responsible for credit card declines from Non Go Massage clients.

CHAIR MASSAGE & EVENTS

How do chair events work?
This is all booked through Go Massage. You might get a call from us or a text which you must repond to. Once you agree to the appointment, we will send out an email with the event information, and you perform the massage. We will pay you via a check once a month for these massages along with your table massages you performed that month (that were paid by credit card or gift certificate). Chair Massage Rates (subject to change) are listed in the toolbox.


What if I meet someone at Chair Event that wants to hire me privately?
This is OK only if you're on the Bronze,Silver or Gold Plan. If you're on a Basic plan, you cannot exchange contact info.

If you're a Bronze, Silver or Gold member, you can give them your personal card, but if they want to pay by credit card, they must be a member of Go Massage to do credit card billing. For this, you can get their information and Go Massage can call them to get the credit card number. Send name & number to: newclient@gomassage.com - and let us know when it needs to be done by.


How much do you pay for chair or event massage?
Specific rates can be found in the toolbox (after you register), but it ranges from $36/hr to $54/hr. depending on location on number of hours booked.

OTHER

Are there any incentives to referring other providers?
Yes, the easiest way to do this is the TELL A FRIEND function we have on our site.  You simply put in your friend's email and your email, and an email gets sent.  If that person signs up, an automated email will be generated entitling you to 10 minutes of free massage, but since you're not a client, you can exchange that for a $15 credit on our site. Simply forward that email to: tellafriend@gomassage.com.


I'm going away for a while or I have a spa which will be temporarily closed. Can I freeze my account?
We have three options for you if you'll be away for 2 days to 4 months.

A. A text freeze. You will not receive texts during this time.
B. A profile freeze - your profile does not even come up.
C. A comment - you just have a comment on your profile stating the days you'll be gone.

We cannot offer any monetary compensation for any of the above options. If you will be gone for more than 4 months, we suggest you cancel the account, and then re-activate at a later time.


How do I cancel my membership or add-on?
Simply email the request to cancel@gomassage.com. We can cancel you within 48 hours if you follow instructions on the reply email, but keep in mind that we cannot re-imburse you for any monies if you are in the middle of your pay cycle. In addition, we can offer no refunds - this includes any unused portions of the Silver, Gold Plan, or Add-On. If your recurring bill has already been charged, we cannot reverse the charges or re-imburse you part of the month. You will also be charged for any monies owed on the Bronze or Basic Plan before cancellation. Most advertisements (also known as add-ons) are billed by the month. Providers can cancel at anytime. Providers will be billed up to the end of that current billing period. If a provider has a 6 month advertisement, he/she will not receive any funds back if cancelled.


I own a spa, and we are interested in recruiting massage therapists. What do we do?
For this, you need to call us directly at 1-888-506-2772 or email hire@gomassage.com.


I own a mobile spa. Can I be listed on your site either as a client or a provider?
Go Massage defines a mobile spa as a company that employs 4 or more therapists who do outcall. At this time, there are no available client accounts for mobile spas, however, you can list each of your employees indvidually and leave your company phone number on there. If you are a mobile spa, you cannot set up an account either as a client or a provider and solicit providers on this website. Doing so will result in being banned from Go Massage permanently. However, if you are a mobile spa looking to hire massage therapists on a part time or full time basis, you can use the recruiting services of Go Massage at http://www.gomassage.com/hire.php or post the job opening for free in our lounge.

Massage facilities or employers who are looking to hire therapists on a full or part time basis can create a provider (not client) account for advertising purposes only but not to solicit other providers. To hire therapists, they can use Go Massage's recruiting services through http://www.gomassage.com/hire.php.
